What's included:
Cat grass planter basin, seed tray and saucer; one complimentary packet of cat grass seeds from The Seed Collection https://www.theseedcollection.com.au/
Saucer measures 15.5cm in diameter, carrot basin measures 12.5cm in diameter and 6cm tall, with a 9.5cm seed tray insert.
Steps to grow your cat grass:
- Measure how many seeds you need by spreading them out in the basket to cover the surface.
- Dump those either in the basin or another container and soak for 12 hours. Spread the seeds back into the basket.
- Place them in a warm, sunny spot (like a windowsill) and pour a little water on them daily until they start sprouting.
- Once they are sprouting, fill the basin up to just below the overflow slot. Pour slowly so you don’t overflow.
- Change water every couple of days.
Only the roots that grow through the basket should be in the water. Excess water will run down the outside through the slot should you put too much in. You can also use it to tip water out without having to lift off the seed tray.
Grass will be ready for consumption in 6-10 days. Your cat can eat directly from the planter or you can trim the grass and cut it up to add to food.

As with all of our 3D printed products, we recommend that they do not be exposed to long-term, strong, direct sunlight.
